Like many other rural communities, the rural values and work ethics of the people who have inhabited these communities over the years have been carried to many other communities throughout this state, country, and beyond.
We hope that this website helps remind people of the impact these communities have had and continue to have.
Any support for the continued wellbeing of these communities would be greatly appreciated.
Many local nonprofit organizations and other groups have been formed to provide support for the needs of these two communities. This website is dedicated not only to remembering the past, but also as a place for these organizations to share their current activities and efforts.
